WHAT IS AN ABORTION & THE UNADDRESSED?

                                                What is Abortion?
We often make judgments by our intentions and not our actions. The end does not always justify the means, and especially before God.

Is Abortion a Right?

Is Abortion a Choice?

What is the Controversy - Are you taking the life of an innocent human being? What is that called in legal and Biblical terms?

Some of the reasons for abortions: unwanted baby (especially in the case of rape), unhealthy baby, endangered mother, unsafe conditions for either or both, inability to care for a baby,  population control…

Upon scrutinizing these reasons, some may seem valid and even critical. What is the controversy? Is there a valid disagreement against abortion, on what grounds, at what level?

What is an Abortion? To abort means to terminate, stop, put an end to…

Fetus – a medical term given for a developing human being two months after conception until birth

Presupposition – Pro Choice – The ‘fetus’ is not a Person

- Conception has occurred and pregnancy is confirmed.

- The mother and developing baby are fully bound.

- The developing infant is not considered a person, essential, wanted, or is unhealthy, or endangering the mother.

- Terminate the pregnancy before the ‘fetus’ is fully developed to prevent future harm to the baby and or the mother, or It is born into an unhealthy situation.

Conclusion 1

An abortion has been performed with the intended and safest results for the mother, giving the mother her choice, and within the legal and healthiest bounds for her. For all intents and purposes from some secular perspectives, this has been carried out with reasonable, rational, and sound judgment.

ON WHAT GROUNDS IS ABORTION CHALLENGED? Is an abortion merely a socially accepted activity endorsed by the Government and the Media?
REVIEWING THE UNADDRESSED  (Nor is this even touching some of the brutality and cruelty involved)

-The conception is by human parents (obviously)

- The baby conceived has the complete DNA of a human being.

- The developing baby has its own blood separate from the mother's, which means that it has it's own life.

CONCLUSION 2 – The developing baby is a human being, though developing and fully dependent  on the mother, and is completely vulnerable.

What is Required for an Abortion to be Successful? The developing human life must be stopped/terminated/killed (the use of this word specifically refers to the taking of a life)

ARE THERE ANY ASUMPTIONS?

- The developing baby feels no, or negligible pain

- The developing baby has no human senses, or emotions such as fear, helplessness, rejection...

- The developing baby is not given recognition as a human being based on the stage of development and location

- man/governments/social opinion, gets to decide who/what qualifies as a human being and is granted human rights (this has been a recurring historical dilemma)

- GOD ALMIGHTY HAS NO SAY IN THE MATTER.
- Do you know which of the Ten Commandments it is breaking?

“But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof…and surely your blood of your lives will I require, at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother  will I require the life of man. Whoso sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed, FOR IN THE IMAGE OF GOD MADE HE MAN.” Genesis 9:4-6 = “Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13

Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of His sight, for the sins of Manasseh according to all that he did; and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.”     2 Kings 24:3-4, “Yea, they sacrificed their sons and daughters unto devils, and  shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.” Psalm 106:37-38.

THE BABY IN THE WOMB FROM THE BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee (Jeremiah), and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…” Jeremiah 1:5

For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.” Luke 1:44 John was in his sixth month in his mother's womb at that time.

Upon considering these Scriptures from the Word of God we see much different information and a most serious conflicting conclusion...

CONCLUSION – With the added information and the Biblical teachings, and before God Almighty, what actually is an ‘Abortion’ from the perspective of the Commandments of God?

What if you had an abortion? God, our Loving Heavenly Father, is ever ready to forgive, help, and heal you, if you run to Him in the name of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who  paid for all our sins on the Cross of Calvary, “And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” Acts 13:39 - He loves you so much!

Where to from here? Take up your cross and follow Jesus in the new life He has given you, in a walk of faith, hope, and love, and He will take care of the rest.
If you are considering an Abortion - Think, 'From God's perspective,' what would I really be doing? Does  our opinion, public opinion, or government legislation absolve us from guilt before GOD ALMIGHTY? What would  you really be doing, and what would Jesus do?
