THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD INDEX: -  WHY IS THE RESURRECTION SO IMPORTANT? -  GOD'S INTENT FOR  JUSTICE -  WHAT ABOUT THE RESURRECTION OF THE UNJUST?  -  CONCLUSION “ Jesus said unto her, ‘I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE, he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” John 11:25-26 “ …that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.” Acts 24:15 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth; and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God, Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another, though my reins be consumed within me.” Job 19:25-26 "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, a

WHAT IS HELL LIKE

What is Hell Like?  INDEX: - HELL IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS  -  HELL AND THE LAKE OF FIRE - WHAT ABOUT THE DESCRIPITON THAT JESUS MADE OF HELL/SHEOL IN LUKE 16? - WHERE DID THE RIGHTEOUS GO BEFORE JESUS' SACRIFICE?  - HELL IS A PLACE OF...  - IN CONCLUSION, THIS WE KNOW FOR SURE HELL IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS    The topic of Hell is predominately a revelation of the New Testament. In the Old Testament it is referred to as Sheol, or the abode of the dead; however, in the New Testament Jesus made regular references to hell and actually spoke more of it than any another person. In the Old Testament, the focus was mainly on the nation of Israel and God’s dealing with His people the Israelites, their life in this world, but very little reference was directly made regarding our eternal destiny.  In the New Testament, God’s eternal plan (which was concealed in the Old Testament) to reconcile all people to Himself through

WHAT IS HEAVEN LIKE

What is Heaven Like    Since I have never been there, the best anyone can do is derive our very poor and obscure perspective from what we can glean from the Bible and what God has revealed about Himself. That alone is an amazing and exciting journey. “But as it is written,’ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.’” 1 Corinthians 2:9 “And he said unto Jesus, ‘Lord, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom.’ And Jesus said unto him, ‘Verily I say unto you, today you shall be with me in Paradise. ’” Luke 23:42-43  Before you proceed I would like to venture to say that what I have written here, doubtlessly, is  infinitely inferior to what Heaven is actually like. We will know went we get there, and in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour, we shall!     This topic is something everyone has wondered about, and that God has left for us t

WHAT IS AN ABORTION & THE UNADDRESSED?

What is Abortion?        We often make judgments by our intentions and not our actions. The end does not always justify the means, and especially before God. Is Abortion a Right? Is Abortion a Choice? What is the Controversy - Are you taking the life of an innocent human being? What is that called in legal and Biblical terms? Some of the reasons for abortions: unwanted baby (especially in the case of rape), unhealthy baby, endangered mother, unsafe conditions for either or both, inability to care for a baby,   population control… Upon scrutinizing these reasons, some may seem valid and even critical. What is the controversy? Is there a valid disagreement against abortion, on what grounds, at what level? What is an Abortion? To abort means to terminate, stop, put an end to… Fetus – a medical term given for a developing human being two months after conception until birth Presupposition – Pro Choice – The ‘fetus’

A YOUNG SOLDIER'S LETTER TO GOD

A Young  Soldier’s Letter to God   My father, a WW2 vet, gave me this when I was young. The following words were found scribbled on a piece of paper in the pocket of a young soldier…when his body was discovered on a deserted battlefield somewhere in France.  Look, God, I have never spoken to You, but now I want to say; “How do You do?” You see, God, they told me You didn’t exist--- and like a fool…I believed all this. Last night form a shell hole I saw Your sky and figured right then, they told me a lie. Had I taken time to see the things You made, I’d have known they weren’t calling a spade a spade. I wonder, God, if You’d shake my hand: Somehow I feel that You’ll understand. Funny I had to come to this hellish place before I had time to see Your face.   Well, I guess there isn’t much more to say: but I’m sure glad , God, I met You today. I guess the zero hour will soon be here, but I’m not afraid since I know You’re here. The signal!.

SEXUAL SIN

Part 2                                                    SEXUAL SIN INDEX: - GOD'S DESIGN - GOD'S BOUNDARY  -  FORNICATION - ADULTERY - INCEST, HOMOSEXUALITY, TRANSGENDER,... -  CONCLUSION     This is a delicate issue on many levels, but critical on each nonetheless. GOD'S DESIGN The first command or instruction that God gave people when He created us was to, “ …be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth... ” Genesis 1:28. So procreation is a natural drive God designed to keep the earth populated. Now, what separates us from the animals is that we were created in the image and likeness of God Genesis 1:27. Because God is Holy, He created us to be holy and upright in our behaviour. From this information we can conclude that, although we are created with a sexual drive to procreate/reproduce after our kind, we are also expected and bound to function within the confines of God’s holy ord

ARE REC DRUGS A SIN?

What about Sin?                                                       Part 1                                           ‘Recreational” Drugs’                                      “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14                 Recreational DRUGS - (not referring to Medical Use)   Whatever activity we as humans engage ourselves in, and endorse, must always be examined before God according to what He has decreed.   What does God’s Word say about drugs? All through the Old and New Testaments the topic of drunkenness is addressed, and the specific topic of drugs is found in a number of passages in the New Testament and often within the context of God’s wrath and judgment.   “Neither repented they
