                                              # 3-The Righteous Crusader Attitude-   “And Saul, yet breathing out threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest… ‘it is hard for you to kick against the pricks(goads).'" Acts 9:1-9 POINT - There are situations where we feel we are on a righteous campaign and we need to defend against, attack, oppose, and fight an (actual or assumed) evil. This attitude is likely marked with hostile attitudes and behaviours against persons and or things. Conflict and strife even anger and hate are in the path and wake of such an attitude, all the while feeling totally justified, and even doing God a service.     “The time comes, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God a service.” John16:2.                                                              # 2 –  An Angry Man   ( anger as a means and a way)   “He that is soon angry deals foolishly:” “An  angry man  stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgressions.” Proverbs 14:17, 29”22   Description:  Hot headed, attacks, likes to fight/contentious, disagreeable, must have his own way…  The Lord’s testimony against this behavior is most serious,  “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man you shall not go: lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to your soul.” Proverbs 22:24-25  Here in the Scriptures the Lord is declaring to us that being an angry man is foolish, causes strife, which He says is,  “ earthly, sensual and devilish.” James 3:15,  and is sinful. He is also saying that this is a learned and or developed behavior. You, no doubt, have caused much hurt in the lives of those around you. The key words here are ‘  his ways’ .   An ‘angry man’ is all about him !   If this is you, you need
