ARE YOU SAVED? ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN?

                                WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
Are you saved from your sins? Where will you go when you die? When you stand before you Maker, will you be condemned or will He welcome you into His eternal dwelling? Are you SAVED???

“ ‘…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.’ “ Acts 16:30-31

“If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE.” John 3:16

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ the Lord.” Romans 6:23

 

The call to be SAVED is the most urgent message of the Bible, and hopefully the pivotal point of every person who hears it. WE MUST BE SAVED!!! Saved from our sins, reconciled to God our Maker, delivered from our transgressions and the power of darkness. “As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one…for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:10,23 We have all broken His Commandments; we have lied, stolen, blasphemed, lusted, hated (which the Bible says that to hate our brother is equivalent to murder)… And if we have to stand before the Almighty and Holy God on the day of judgment in this condition we will be condemned and thus perish!

 How can we be Saved? We are sinners, and we cannot erase a single sin. Our good works, which are often acts of self-righteousness in themselves, cannot remove even one past transgression, nor make us pure and holy in the sight of God, nor change our corrupted nature. How can we then be reunited with the Holy and Righteous God our Creator? The FANTASTIC NEWS is that God Himself has taken on the call by sending His Son, the SINLESS LAMB OF GOD (John 1:29) to take away the sin of the WORLD! Only the Son of God could pay for all the sins of mankind! Only the Blood of Jesus Christ can wash away our sins! Only the Son of God could defeat the devil and his angels! Only the Son of God could conquer Death, Hell, and the Grave! Only the Son of God could present us pure and spotless to God the Father! What Love! What Mercy! What Grace!!!

 So what do we do from here? Turn from your sins and BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Ask Him to cleanse and forgive you, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. Do so now, and then tell someone! Find a good, solid Bible believing Church and hook up with them. They will help you grow, and then begin your walk ‘daily’ with Jesus.
