30- Biblical Anger Management-Helps for Victory in Christ & Conclusion
Helps for Victory in Christ
The Lord is our Hiding Place and Refuge - Fleeing to the Lord and hiding in Him in time of need cannot be
replaced by any other help, nor has any the equivalent. “You Are my Hiding
Place, You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall compass me about with
songs of deliverance. Selah! Psalm 32:7
“You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the
pride of man: You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.”
Psalm 31:20
“He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide
under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
“You Are my
Hiding Place; You shall preserve me from trouble, You shall compass me about
with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7
Praying and Fasting are indispensable tools for breaking habits, chains, getting
deliverance, and getting victory over problems: ”I love the Lord because He
has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear unto
me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.”
Psalm 116:1-2
“And He said unto them, ‘This kind can come forth by nothing,
but by prayer and fasting.” Mark 9:26 .
Crying out to God - “ This poor man
cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him from all his troubles.” Psalm 34:6
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.”
Romans 10:13
Abiding in His Peace -“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on
You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you,...” John
14:27
Loving God’s Word -
“Great peace have they which love Your law, and nothing shall
offend them.” Psalm 119:165
“How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to
Your Word.” Psalm 119:9
Walking in Holiness - Purity of heart, mind, motives.
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”
Psalm 66:18
“and they do not cry to Me from their heart when they wail from
their beds.” Hosea 7:14
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew
5:8
Walking in the fear of the Lord -
“...and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of
the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.” Acts 9:31
“Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers
and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save
Him from death, and was heard in that He feared.” Hebrews 5:7
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance,
and the evil way, and perverse speech do
I hate. Proverbs 8:13
Obedience - Suffering
“ Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things
which He suffered.” Hebrews 5:8
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him.” 1Timothy 2:12
“There for since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm
yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh
has ceased from sin. 1 Peter 4:1
Walk in Love -
“...but faith which works by love.” Galatians 5:6
“Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not
boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not
easily offended, (thinks no evil), it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not
delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres. ( Bears all things, believes all things, hopes
all things, endures all things). Love never fails. ... the
greatest of these is Love.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8,13.
Be a Disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ
“Come unto Me all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I Am meek and
lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy,
and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30
“‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways
My ways,’
says the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so
are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.’”
Isaiah 55:8-9.
FELLOWSHIPING WITH OTHER CHRISTIANS – “If we walk
in the light, as He is in the Light, then we have fellowship one with another,
and the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is,
but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:25
BEING SUBJECT TO AUTHORITY This is so HUGELY IMPORANT, and many saints
fall into dangerous situations because they neglect or even despise this
Biblical Principle. “Remember your leaders who spoke the Word of God to you.
Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith…Obey your
leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over your souls, as
those who will give account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy and not
a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.” Hebrews 13:7, 17NIV
Even secular authorities as they are carrying out their God-given
responsibilities, there is a huge safe guard for us. “Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no
power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resists
the power, resists the ordinance of God, and they that resist shall receive to
themselves damnation….Romans 13:1-2…
As we follow the Lord
Jesus Christ daily, walking in the obedience of faith, heeding His Word and
allowing His Holy Spirit to have His way in our lives, we will find He will not
allow us to get away with anything and will help us change, conform to His ways
and enable us to changed more and more into His image. To Him be all the Glory
!!!!
When applied in faith
and executed with pure motives the Lord can use these tools to work wonders and
He will get all the glory, because as with any true success it is all by and
through His power, mercy, and grace . All our righteousness are as filthy rags.”...
for without Me, you can do nothing.” John 15:5 WE ARE TO NEVER TRUST IN OUR WORKS!
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of
Host.”
CONCLUSION
I laid out as best I can
what I believe may be of some benefit to you. I do know this, though, that one
touch from God, and all this will be less than child’s play. Further, using
methods and formulas thinking they in themselves are like some magic formula to
get God to work on our behalf is folly. It is by faith and faith alone in the
Lord Jesus Christ where we make contact with the Father. All our efforts in the
flesh, although they may have the resemblance of perhaps being sincerely
religious, or even have a Biblical focus, will prove fruitless in the end.
Again, as Jesus said,” ... for without Me you can do
nothing.” John 15:5
Nevertheless my hope and prayer for you is that the Lord will
mightily visit you, help you, and deliver you into the wonderful victory that
He gained for you through His Cross at Calvary! And may His keeping power and
grace ever lead you into His awesome joy until your journey is complete or He
returns.
Very best wishes in Christ Jesus our Lord with Love!
